Pumping Tales

I get asked all the time about how I was able to produce so much breastmilk and my pumping routine.  So!  To make it easier to direct people to my blogs about it, I've linked them below for easy access and reference to those who are seeking those posts.

  1. I was wondering if you had any tips when it came ot actually removing milk when pumping. I think you might just be blessed by the lacation gods. Whenever I pump I will usually only get 2 oz per side. My LO is 14 weeks. When he eats I know he is getting around 7oz ( i do before and after weight checks at with a lactation consultant once a week) I am having to do about 2 to 3 sessions just to get him one bottle. Did you find that doing it at a consistent time helped? I don't have a problem with supply or anything. After he eats and I pump I know that there is still a ton of milk in there. I do massage and apply a heating pad. I sit up without leaning back to far???? I just don't understand why I am not pumping more. I also usually just pump for 10 or 15 minutes. I am wondering if my let down just doesn't last very long

  2. Its fantastic and fabulous blog, I love to read it.
