30 Weeks 🌈

AHHHHH! We're in the 30s!! This kid is officially 3/4th of the way cooked (actually more so if you figure he/she is coming in 7 weeks!) and I cannot believe we're less than TWO MONTHS away.  We're also more than halfway through September and I just cannot freaking believe it!!  It truly does feel like it's flying by and honestly I will take it.  I told Mike the other day if he could just hit fast-forward on the next 7+ weeks that would be AWESOME.

So I had my 29 week checkup this past week and all looks good!  This kid was moving up a storm and still zero signs of fluid, edema or hydrops...which is awesome.  I got my Tdap shot as well as my flu shot so trying to keep both this kiddo and myself nice and healthy.  I cannot believe I only have 4 appointments left with Dr. Jen (and one with Dr. Paul) and then it's baby day! AHHHHHH!!!!!  Please just keep going fast!

We had our monthly STL birth photog meetup this past weekend and it was so much fun to chat with some of my favorite birth photographers!  And three of us are all due within a few weeks of each other in November so come Christmas time this pic will look so much different!  It was great to get away and chit chat for a bit with just these ladies.

I also treated myself to a massage earlier this week and OH EMM GEE it was so nice!  I scheduled another one for October and it was truly wonderful too...I am counting down the days for that!!

I ran into a friend earlier this week and she asked how I was truly feeling and I was honest, I'm freaking anxious.  And terrified.  And excited.  And every possible emotion in between.  Because all I keep thinking about is losing this baby and not feeling him/her move and we're not going to get to bring them home with us again.  That just absolutely SUCKS to think about and I live in a near constant state of "did this kid move recently?!?!?" and poking my belly, eating/drinking anything to feel movement, heck even waking up in the middle of the night to count kicks and make sure I am feeling this babe move in there.  It's just terrifying and an awful and consuming feeling that I try and not let get to me BUT IT DOES.  And I don't know what I can do to stop it other than wish these 7 weeks to sail by and get November 4th here as soon as possible.  I keep telling myself it does go quick and to try and enjoy this pregnancy (as it's probably my last) as much as possible but boyyyyy, so much easier said than done.  So I just keep praying for constant movement and a growing, wiggly babe in there and to get November here as fast as possible!

I'll end with this little wiggly kickin' video I tried to get a good recording of from earlier this week for ya...

Anyways, that's about all I've got to report!  Still team blue...still playing the name debate game with Mike. haha!  Here's to hopefully a great an uneventful week 30 and until week 31 friends, adios!!

Parades & More!

Yep.  Sorry.

It's been a hot minute since I did a little update blog post.  I'm sorry...but life has been SO FREAKING BUSY I cannot keep up!  Haha!  Truly it has been busy...but my usual 'blog time' I've been spending napping as opposed to blogging so yeahhhhh, naps have been winning out.  Maybe I'll get back in the swing of things when life slows down (in like 5 years. haha!)

Anyways, I figured I'd throw a little hodge podge post together for you this Saturday to keep you updated on what we've been up to 'round these parts!  Nothing super exciting, just the usual Mooney antics.

First off, we spent the morning today at one of our favorite events of the year: the Greentree Parade!

The kids had a BLAST and loved every minute of it!  They got a ton of goodies that were thrown out and really just had so much fun together watching all of the floats and people in the parade!  I missed the parade last year because I had to snap a birth so I was glad I was able to be there this year for it!

Their favorite treats were definitely the apples -- Patrick got like 4 of them to eat to help his 'wiggly tooth' start to fall out!  I'm sure he'll be losing that tooth any time now!!!

My mom and dad just got back from a vacation and brought the kids wax lips!  Rosie wasn't a fan and Annie ended up chewing up hers and I had to fish the wad of it out of her mouth before nap. HAHA!

So Annie is still loving dance...A LOT!  It was watch week so I got to sit in and watch her dance and it was the cutest thing EVER.

She truly is LOVING IT so much and I am so biased but watching these girls of mine dance really is the best thing ever.  They are so darn cute!

I didn't get any pics of Rosie dancing but did get a few videos and compared to Rosie she looks like a million years older now!

Earlier this week we did a make your own pizza night for dinner and the kids absolutely LOVED IT!  I think we'll have to do more of them to come because the kids really enjoyed them and had a blast.

So Annie really loves going to school...until we're about to walk in and then she flips and says she doesn't want to go!  Tears ensue, teacher has to hold her, and then about 30 seconds after I leave she's fine and doesn't want to leave when I come pick her up! AHAHA!

But how darn cute (and old?!?!) does she look when she's headed off to school?!?  I am so biased but dang, those blonde curls just slay me!

With the big kids in school all day and Annie just half days, we've gotten to still do some one-on-one activities -- like hitting up our favorite IMOS with favorite uncles and going to the pool!

I will be sad when our little day dates come to an end when she's in full time school probably before I know it!

All 3 kiddos went to the dentist this week and had wonderful reports of great teeth!  Annie is now even more obsessed with brushing (yay!) and everyone was excited for their balloons and dentist goodie bags after a good visit!  We'll be back with all 3 of them (heck, could have another one along for the ride with me too!!) in March!

Anyways friends, that's about all I've got for this random hodge podge little post!  I'll leave you with a few random snappies and videos from the past week or so.

I'll try to be better about posting more...but dang, it's so hard to compete against the wonderful appeal of an afternoon nap. HAHA!  Have a great one friends!

29 Weeks 🌈

29 weeks todayyyy!  8 weeks to go.  Less than 2 months.  Holy cats folks, it's getting real!  I know this time is gonna sail by (or continue to) and I am just hitting fast-forward and wanting it to go as fast as possible.

I had my 28 week growth scan and checkup with the high risk OB (who actually had to leave for a delivery so I just saw the nurse practitioner...which was fine since everything was good to go!!) last week and everything looks just PERFECT with this kiddo.  He/she jumped from the 30% to the 55% so a great growth since 22 weeks.  My fluids looked awesome and there was no swelling, edema, ANYTHING anywhere!  I hope it continues to stay like this for the next 8 weeks...cause having good appointments like this definitely calm my anxieties.

I officially wrapped up my crazy insane birth month snapping my final birth of NINE I had booked all due within a month of each other and I'm proud to say I missed ZERO of them and made it to all (some with just minutes to spare!).  It was insanely busy but oh-so-good.  Each of them truly has helped me get more excited (and keep my anxiety at bay a bit) for this babe's upcoming arrival and as much as I love snapping births, I'm excited for a bit of time off call for a while too.

Mike made my stand by his elephant ears the other day and he said he couldn't tell who is bigger.  HAHA! Such a jokester he is. hahahaha.

Patrick snapped these lovely gems of me and I figured they needed to go in this week's post!  He was showing Annie how to use my big camera so got a few snaps of mama bear here as his subject.  And I kind of love them even though the focus is off ;-) Candid always wins!

Other than that, not much else exciting going on! My girlfriends and I enjoyed a quick little 24 hours away this past weekend and it was so awesome to have a few hours away from the hustle and bustle and responsibilities!  I truly enjoyed eating...A LOT.  HAHA!  But I mean, if I couldn't indulge in the wine, eating was the next best thing.

Welp friends, that's all I've got for 29 weeks...cannot believe we're in week 30 next week! AHHHH!! Keep going quick please...cannot wait to get to November SO SOON!!
