1SE: February 2018

Welp, another month has come and gone, and I've wrapped up another month of another yearlong project I've committed to!  One second everyday...and, 59 days into 2018, another month is in the books!  Only 10 more months to go!

I just love these quick little snippets of everyday SO MUCH -- I hope I can keep it up the rest of the year...stay tuned!

Oh, and while I've got you here, we're 59/365 for #MooneyCandid365 too! WOOT! This may be my favorite year project yet!

Here's to bidding February adieu and welcoming March (and spring VERY SOON!) with open arms!

Suckers and Scooters

Okay, let's get right to it: this had me ROLLING in the car the other day...

She.got.a.sucker.stuck.in.her.hair.  Seriously, I was trying so hard not to bust up on the video, but it was so hilarious.  Only something Ro would do.  And, side note, we were at a stoplight so I wasn't actually driving :)

Anyways, she ended up yanking the sucker out and then screamed that it had hair on it (yuckkkkk) -- so we threw it away and I got her another one.  Still, so dang funny.

So the iPhone X has a long narrow screen and it makes it tricky to get a good pic of ALL three kids + Scooter to fit...unless I strategically take that pic when I'm snapping...which rarely happens.  So, I made a template in Photoshop and BAM!  I put my current 4 fave pics of my babies on there and now I'm a happy camper with ALL of them in view on my phone!  It's the little things people :)

This little chick is 13 whole months old today (WHATTT?!??!?!?) and I cannot believe it.  I seriously feel like this was yesterday and now here we are a full year later.  Time really does FLY by.  I cannot believe it.  Her personality is beaming through and every day it just gets better and better and more animated!  Gosh she just kills me!

It has been really nice out the past few days, so we had some play time in the driveway and Ro was LOVING it. She's finally figured out how to ride her Scooter, so it's fun watching her zoom around on the driveway on it.

She also got some time in with her other Scooter -- probably her favorite one!  And we got some shots of just Scoots too looking regal after his day at the spa (where he got his hair and nails done) as well.

Isn't he just dashing?! Pure radiance.  And I cannot believe he's gonna be 13 (I think! Maybe 14 or even 15!!) in May.  CRAZY.  I feel like I just got him!

Ro sure loves playing with her little sissy SO MUCH.  I know they're going to have some epic fights down the road, but I know they're going to be best friends through it all too.  Just melts my heart thinking about it -- cause I never had a sister, so I am living vicariously through my daughters' relationship!

Annie does not like helmets or mulch FYI.

Rosie drew some beautiful 'rainbow' artwork on the driveway...and then when it was time to go in I asked her if she wanted to twirl around and show me her new boots...welp...

THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY.  Oh, what a sassy little diva you are Ro. Don't ever lose that vivacity for life chica!

That's about all I've got for this quick little recap...I hope everyone had a great hump day!  I've got a big weekend coming up -- hopefully a birth soon to snap (mama was due on 2/25!) and a Mitz promo shoot on Saturday! BUSY BUSY! I can't wait!!  Have a good one friends!!

New Bunk Beds!!!!!

Monday was a BIG DAY for these two: they officially got NEW (to them!) bunk beds!  They had both been sleeping in toddler beds for almost a year -- Patrick for nearly TWO years and Rosie for almost a year since we ditched her crib shortly after she turned 2 last year.  We have had these bunk beds we got from a family friend in our basement for a good year or two -- they have been our 'guest room' next to the ballpit for anyone who would stay with us and needed a place to sleep.  We had always planned on having the big kids use them but we didn't really know when!

Welp, I had planned to surprise the big kids when they got back from Florida with a new room setup...however, seeing Patrick literally curled up barely fitting in his too small for his 50 pound self toddler bed, I knew we needed to switch them NOW.  So I moved their beds downstairs, rearranged their room, and then when Mike got up he helped me bring up the bunk beds from the basement into their new room!

To say they were excited was an understatement -- THEY FLIPPED!  They were SO EXCITED to go to sleep Monday night -- and then again on Tuesday!  Rosie spends the night on Tuesdays with KiKi and NeeNee's and she always loves going but she was a little sad she couldn't sleep in her 'new bed' that night!  I told her it would be there waiting for her on Wednesday night.

Both of them truly loved sleeping in their new spots (and BIGGER spots!!) and neither of them fell out of their beds either, so yay for that!

I am loving their new siesta spots and LOVE that they love them too.  I also am so thankful for such good sleepers AND that they love sharing a room together!  That will make Disney easier since they are already use to not sleeping alone!

Here's to some great nights to come...and I'm sure it's just a matter of time before P crawls into bed with R or vice versa.  Hope I'm there to document that! Haha!

Glitter Patrick

Patrick was having a bit of FOMO (read: fear of missing out, for all of you who don't work with teenagers every single day) after Rosie got her glitter pics on Saturday...so today, since it was GORGEOUS out, we decided to do some for Patrick too!

He was LOVING it.  And I was loving the way that gold glitter looked in that late afternoon sun!

He was an excellent glitter blower -- I had to back off of him at one point cause he had such intense blowage (is that even a word?!?) that glitter was getting all over my camera! HA!

We then ended the shoot with some glitter being tossed in the air -- he loved that.  And, by some miracle, most of the glitter came off of him and stayed in the yard!  I haven't found any in the house (yet) so yay for that.  Maybe I'll stash a bottle in my bag for shoots...I don't think it'd work with kids under 3, but above it I'm sure they'd love it!  Tabling that idea for later.

Alrighty! That's all I've got for now!  I'll do a big blog post later...but today was a BIG NIGHT for the big kids: bed upgrade to BUNK BEDS! So exciting! More details on that later :)  Have a great one friends!
